Messina

Messina is the gateway town between Sicily and mainland Italy. It is not a super sought after wedding destination at the moment, but this is likely to change in the near future thanks to some amazing wedding venues that have appeared over the last few years in this area.

The eastern part of the island is a hilly territory with some great forests and truly magnificent views over the Strait of Messina. Luckily in this town, some amazing venues have been authorized to allow civil ceremonies, so you could legally get married and have your wedding in the same location.
